Epoxy Floor Primer
SUHA FLOOR PRIMER EP-100
High-Performance, Two-Component, Epoxy-Based Industrial Surface Primer
DESCRIPTION
SUHA FLOOR PRIMER EP-100 is a high-performance, two-component, solvent-free epoxy-based primer specifically engineered for industrial flooring systems. It features low viscosity and superior penetration capabilities, designed to deeply anchor into concrete and cementitious substrates to create a solid, flawless foundation for subsequent epoxy and polyurethane topcoats. It effectively seals surface pores, eliminates dust, and ensures maximum adhesive bond strength between the substrate and the coating system.
KEY FEATURES & ADVANTAGES
Deep Penetration: Low viscosity formulation penetrates deeply into concrete pores to lock loose particles.
Superior Adhesion: Provides exceptional bonding strength between the concrete substrate and topcoat layers.
Solvent-Free: Eco-friendly formulation safe for enclosed industrial environments.
High Mechanical Strength: Excellent resistance against mechanical stress, impact, and dynamic loads.
Moisture Barrier: Acts as an effective capillary barrier against residual substrate moisture.
Easy Application: Smooth and uniform application via roller, brush, or squeegee.
Fast Curing: Optimizes project turnaround times in commercial and industrial facilities.
RECOMMENDED APPLICATIONS
Industrial warehouses and logistics centers
Manufacturing plants and production facilities
Aircraft hangars and automotive service centers
Commercial showrooms, shopping malls, and parking garages
Primer layer before epoxy and polyurethane self-leveling or multilayer floor coatings
Repair mortars and scratch coat applications when blended with quartz sand

Typical Consumption: 0.300 – 0.500 kg/m² per coat (depending on substrate porosity and surface profile).
SURFACE PREPARATION & MIXING
Surface Preparation
Application surfaces must be cured, dry, clean, sound, and free from loose particles. Remove all bond-inhibiting residues such as oil, grease, paint, cement laitance, curing compounds, and old coatings via shot-blasting, scarifying, or industrial diamond grinding.
Mixing Process
SUHA FLOOR PRIMER EP-100 is supplied in dual-component packaging with pre-measured ratios. Pour Component B (hardener) entirely into Component A (base resin). Mix thoroughly using a low-speed electrical mixer (300–400 rpm) for at least 2–3 minutes until a completely homogeneous mixture is achieved. Do not mix by hand.
Application Method
Apply the mixed primer evenly onto the prepared surface using a short-piled roller, brush, or rubber squeegee, back-rolling crosswise to ensure uniform film formation and pore sealing. Broadcast clean kiln-dried quartz sand onto the wet primer layer if high-build broadcast systems or multi-layer screeds are to follow.
PACKAGING & STORAGE
Packaging:
Component A: 20 kg metal pail
Component B: 10 kg metal pail (Total Set: 30 kg)
Storage Information: Store in original, unopened, sealed containers in a cool, dry, and frost-protected environment between +5°C and +30°C. Shelf life is 12 months under proper storage conditions.
HEALTH & SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
Strictly follow instructions provided in the Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS).
Ensure adequate forced ventilation in enclosed working spaces during mixing and application.
Avoid direct contact with skin and eyes; use personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves, goggles, and protective clothing.
Keep away from open flames, sparks, and high heat sources.
